Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
Selling or removing a stairlift isn’t something you do every day — so it’s natural to have a few questions. Here are some of the most common things we’re asked to help make the process clear, quick, and stress-free.
Can I sell my stairlift if it’s old or not working?
Yes, we may still be able to help. If it can’t be resold, we can often remove and responsibly dispose of it - sometimes at no cost.
What types of stairlifts do you buy?
We typically buy straight and curved stairlifts from popular brands like Stannah, Handicare, Acorn, and Thyssenkrupp. If yours isn’t listed, just ask!
How do I get a quote?
Simply fill in our form with a few details and a photo of your stairlift. We’ll get back to you with a no-obligation quote.
Do you charge for removal?
If we’re buying the stairlift, removal is free. If it can’t be reused, we may still remove it for a small fee - or free in some cases.
How long does the process take?
From enquiry to collection, most removals happen within 7 days. Let us know if you need it done sooner and we’ll do our best to help.
I don’t know the make or model - can I still get a quote?
Yes! Just send us a few clear photos and we’ll identify it for you.
Can I choose the removal date?
We’ll always do our best to work around your schedule and accommodate preferred dates.
Will the removal damage my stairs?
No - our trained engineers remove stairlifts carefully. You may notice a few small screw holes, but no damage.
What if my stairlift has already been removed?
We may still be able to collect it, depending on condition and how it was dismantled. Just get in touch with the details.
Do you cover my area?
We operate across most of the UK. If you’re unsure, send us your postcode and we’ll confirm right away.
Is the quote really free and no obligation?
Yes - 100%. There’s no charge for your quote and no pressure to accept.
Do you buy Stannah stairlifts?
Yes. Stannah is one of the most trusted stairlift brands and we're happy to buy, value, and remove used Stannah stairlifts. Visit our dedicated Stannah stairlift page for a free valuation.
